Be sure to register to join Concrete Alberta's Executive Director, Dan Hanson, on Thursday October 24th for a session on "Building for Tomorrow: Sustainable & Resilient Concrete & Masonry".  The session will highlight that collaborative effort by industry members and partners is necessary to reduce carbon emissions of concrete buildings. With a continued focus on durability, resilience, and sustainability, the speakers will discuss the building industry’s Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), design aids, performance-based specifications, and other tools that support the industry’s net-zero targets by 2050. Dedicated to helping owners, architects, engineers, and contractors deliver the high-performance infrastructure that is expected in the built environment, this session will direct practitioners to sample specifications, typical details, and certified materials suppliers that understand how to incorporate lower carbon cementitious building materials into their projects.
