10th Anniversary

The 10th Anniversary Road Trip took place from July 19 – 23, 2023. This was our biggest attended and longest ride since we began.  38 people from Alberta and BC, 20 motorcycles, 5 trucks and an awesome Chase Trailer took part throughout the trip.

Originating from Calgary, Red Deer and Edmonton, Okotoks, Langley, Abbotsford, Langford and Castlegar, most people met in Golden BC to kick-off the event. The route this year went to West Kelowna, Whistler and back to Revelstoke before heading home.

The scenery as usual was amazing in the mountains throughout the entire trip. One lunch stop, deep in the mountains, has been labelled as the best meal stop we have taken in the ten years of doing the ride. It was in a small campground surrounded by mountains, a major creek and even some wildlife. The pictures are breath-taking.

Temperatures were +30 every day and many times it felt like riding into a hair drier.  The ride skirted around a couple of smaller wildfires and we only encountered light smoke on two of the days.

Great News! ...NO bikes had to be loaded into the trailer this year and everyone made it home safe and sound without incident.

A SPECIAL THANK YOU to the companies who stepped up and provided sponsorship this year. All participants received some great gifts and had an amazing windup banquet with our traditional “Christmas in July” celebration along with the presentation of the annual “D’OH” Awards. It was a monumental time for everyone who made it!
